Japanese criminal gangs have centuries-long tradition, which combined in the 19th century into Mafia-like organizations. Members, often called Yakuza, adopt samurai-like rituals and often bear elaborate body tattoos. They engage in extortion, blackmail, smuggling, prostitution, drugs and gambling.

The word Yakuza, which has come to mean “good for nothing,” is derived from a worthless hand in a Japanese card game similar to blackjack called Oicho-kabu: the cards ya-ku-za “eight-nine-three”, when added up, exceed the winning number of 19.

Yakuza is a production of Crème Fresh, which is entirely in Japanese style. This concept contains several triggers to express this Japanese theme. See how Yakuza members will be tattooed live by a Japanese tattoo artist. Take the opportunity to get a massage given by Asian masseuses or win prices by playing the card game Oicho-kabu. The hostesses and dancers will be transformed into Geisha’s or Harajaku girls. Expect the Yakuza parties to be given in classic as well as in modern Japanese atmosphere.
